The United NationsClimate Change Conference (COP22) was held in Marrakesh(Morocco),from 7-18 November 2016. It was, in particular, the first meeting of theParties (CMA1) following the December 2015 Paris Agreement, and its purpose wasto specify many elements for the implementation of this agreement after itsratification.

Despite the significant number of attendees andthe quality of in-depth discussions, little progress was made. Regarding theimplementation of practical arrangements, we will certainly have to wait forthe next two COPs, to be held in Bonn (Germany), chaired by Fijiin 2017 and in Poland,chaired by Poland,in 2018.
