On 16 February, European Commission presented the first EU-level initiative with the goal of making heating and cooling in buildings and industry smarter, more energy efficient and sustainable. This could mean an immense opportunity forthe natural refrigerant industry, as Europe wants to decarbonise its whole building stock by 2050.
