Some 50 EU policy makers and industry stakeholders, among which ECSLA president Derk van Mackelenbergh and Secretary General Christine Weiker, participated in a meeting of the European Logistics Platform (ELP) on April 1 regarding “European Trade Policy – How to create opportunities for the logistics industry”. The event discussed all perspectives of European trade policy relevant for logistics and the discussion highlighted a broad commitment across industry and policy makers to support European free tradepolicy and ongoing efforts for further trade facilitation.
